Does the pretrained classifer silva-119-99-nb-classifier detect fungi?

Wow, I've been getting a lot of great help form this forum!

Does the classifier at https://data.qiime2.org/2017.10/common/silva-119-99-nb-classifier.qza detect fungi based on their 18S SSU, or just bacteria bused on their 16S SSU?

Hi @mamillerpa,
Yes, that classifier will work for classifying fungal 18S sequences (make sure you use the full-length classifier at the link you provided, and not the classifier trimmed to 515F/806R).
