I was wondering if there are any plans for a qiime2 workshop for someone who is already using it but would benefit from a little more depth in data analysis using qiime2 including using it in galaxy.

Hi @nietof, thanks for your interest in this. We are starting to work on plans for our first official workshop in a while, but at the moment haven't decided exactly what it would cover. I like the idea you're proposing of a more advanced workshop. Do you have an idea of the kinds of topics you'd like to see covered in an event like this, in addition to Galaxy usage?

Hi Greg! I would be interested in learning more in depth about the data analysis, to name a few:
- Filtering data: decision making process.
- how to improve taxonomic assignments
- How to determine what tool is best to analyze and present data.
- More in depth on use of qiime2R, I have gone over the tutorials but I would like to learn more about the full extent of the tool.
- processing visualizations for publication purposes. Right now I use inkscape. Are there any other tools that are more user friendly?
