What is the file size of QIIME-1.9.1-amd64.vdi.gz

Not familiar to QIIME or microbiome analysis.
I started downloading QIIME-1.9.1-amd64.vdi.gz (virtual box). It is going on for more than day, getting interrupted very often and needs resuming the download manually. Already the file size has reached 108GB and still going on. Download page says it is huge and can take hours or even days! How big is this gzipped file? Nowhere it is mentioned (Why?). I am not sure if this is an error or the file is really that big (supposed to be installed on a windows desktop!). Some hints or help is needed.

Hi @Joy_Poulo, I moved your post over to the Other Bioinformatics Tools section of this forum, because your question appears to be about QIIME 1, which is not supported on this forum. QIIME 1 was officially retired at the start of 2018 and has been replaced with QIIME 2.
