QIIME2 resource for developer

Hey guys,

I'm a software developer with a near to zero knowledge in biology or bioinformatics. I am working on a project where I have to do some kind of clustering with some data I received. I've followed some official tutorials, but I have no idea, what I'm doing. All the programming business is absolutely no problem. It is the bioinformatic concepts that I don't really get.

So do you have good resources to learn the basics of bioinformatics for non-biologist?

You may be able to piece together a pipeline based on this tutorial though you would probably prefer to use our python API instead of the CLI — see a minimal tutorial here.
