Can you kindly tell me what meant by these in simple words?

environment
distribution
plugin

Hi! How I am understanding this words:
Pipeline - instructions, workflow, protocol to follow.
Environment - “sandy box”, subsystem with complex of programs that can be run separately and independently from the programs installed at your system.
Distribution - version of software, or abundances in different places, see context.
Plugin - script that can be used to perform one of the parts in the analysis. It’s some kind of the wrap you can use to run some task in Qiime2 including the software that originally was developed independently and now is available inside of the Qiime environment.
