Picrust2 q2-amplicon-2025.4 installation error

Hello,

I tried to add Picrust2 plugin to the q2-amplicon-2025.4 release but got this error message. I tried it also on a clean q2-amplicon-2025.4 installation (without q2-boots, emperor, qurro plugins), but got the same error.

Could not solve for environment specs
The following packages are incompatible

Hello @arwqiime,

The q2-picrust2 plugin is not compatible with the 2025.4 qiime2 release. This is indicated on the library page by the fact that only 2024.5 is an option in the “Quickstart install for” drop down.

Oops, I mixed the numbers 2024.5 and 2025.4.

I will try if 2024.5 will be able to reads 2024.10/2025.4 artifacts, the artifact architecture is (to my knowledge) on the same level.
