I'm running evaluate-compostion on communities from mockrobiota, and am unsure about some of the outputs.
The tables in the visualization contain two columns: taxonomy strings, and what looks like a proportion. Is there useful information in this second column?
yes, the second columns in the false positives/negatives tables are the expected or observed proportions of those taxa.
it just indicates the proportions. it's potentially useful to answer, e.g., if a false positive is a rare or common taxon. Potentially informative for deciding if this is a contaminant, misclassification, or something else.
