Hi! I'd like to test an interaction term with
qiime diversity beta-diversity-significance
but don't know how to do that. Could anyone give me some pointers? Thanks!

Do you mean qiime diversity beta-group-significance? If so, have you had a chance to look at the Moving Pictures Tutorial? The whole tutorial is worth spending some time on, but in particular, the Alpha & Beta Diversity Section of that tutorial spends a bit of time on running the diversity beta-group-significance command.
