Get an r^2 value when running a PERMANOVA test

When running a PERMANOVA test, other programs will also give you an r^2 value (such as Primer). It would be nice if Qiime2 would give you an r^2 value (for example) when calculating the p-values for beta group significance.

It still looks like PERMANOVA does not report an R2. It’s now Aug, 2020

Correct - this has not been implemented yet. I'll remind you that QIIME 2 is community developed, which includes folks like you! If this is a feature that is important to you, we would love to see you contribute - feel free to ping us with questions about development etc.
