Failed to download data from UNITE

Dear All,

Can anyone help me get over this trouble?

I failed to download data from UNITE(https://unite.ut.ee/repository.php). Can anyone download the QIIME files released at https://unite.ut.ee/repository.php for me so that I can train UNITE fungal classifiers?

Yeah, PlutoF is not working too good. I can’t download it either!

EDIT: I’ve emailed them and will let you know if they provide an update. Hopefully this is just a minor blip and they will be back online soon.

I think it’s best if you get the data from the official source. I’m glad you trust me to distribute their database, but you got to an official copy.

Does the plutof.ut.ee site load for you? It loads OK for me, and when I go to the media tab, I can see URLs like this one: https://files.plutof.ut.ee/doi/0F/6F/0F6F4C85C2553655B6E2B4A0F0BF85AE64A2F769BD82A32053CDEC8708454057.zip

Do you see a link like this on the page? This is the one you could download with wget or curl.

Or you could email the unite team at info@plutof.ut.ee and let them know their website is not working.

Download works for me, maybe something in your firewall, VPN that’s not working. Ben
