Hi, could you teach me how to install qiime2 in compute Canada? I just follow the instruction from QIIME - Alliance Doc. But it shows :
WARNING: 'nodev' mount option set on /scratch, it could be a source of failure during build process
FATAL: Unable to create build: while ensuring correct compression algorithm: while creating squashfs: create command failed: exit status 1: FATAL ERROR:Failed to create thread. Could you help me?
Hi @hah606 - we probably aren't the right folks to ask, we aren't affiliated with Compute Canada - have you tried reaching out to them?
This was a while ago so you have probably moved on from this issue - but since it is still open for others to see - you might find my tutorial on Github useful. It reviews using QIIME2 on the Graham cluster, but can also be used for other Compute Canada (now Digital Alliance) clusters:
Microbiome-Analysis-Using-Clusters
CC now has a module for QIIME2, but it has be run through Apptainer now, so for every job script you submit to process your data using QIIME2 you must use an Apptainer mount (outlined in this tutorial).
Johanna,
This is exactly what I was looking for (qiime2 on graham!) - will test it out and report back!
cheers
