I am doing the 16s rRNA seq for first time. i have question that i received the 3 files from the company
- experiment.tsv
- ms5sum.tsv
- some fastq file (0day-Control-1_S188_L001_R1_001.fastq, 0day-Control-1_S188_L001_R2_001.fastq)
i am confused about the files either these files are metadata or manifest files (experiment.tsv = metadata.yaml), (ms5sum.tsv = manifest.tsv). Do i need to create the metadata file by myself? if so, please have a look on it. i came to know by reading literature that " in sample metadata, first column is used for sample names and must be same name as in the sample id column of masnifest file" but in my case is this correct as they are different? ohhh...how can i make my metadata file?
