What does the heading at the top of the differential abundance graph actually mean?

Hi all - I'm trying to run ancombc and da-barplot to obtain differential abundances for my samples.

When I specify a variable in --p-formula', it appears at the top of my graph - but then one of the entries for that variable appears alongside it. What does this indicate about how that variable is being used, and what does this indicate about what the reference line is that taxon abundance is being compared to?

Hi!
It should be a factor, or a column from your metadata file tested plus the level which was compared to the reference. You can specify the reference or it will be chosen in alphabetic order.
