I am having the same issue as above with qiime2-2020.11. The 3d acceleration is not enabled. If I need to change BIOS settings, what would I need to change them to?
I did try installing the previous qiime2 version (qiime2-2020.8), but that gave the same error.
Hi @Heather_E - I'm not too sure what you would need to change - its really specific to your particular computer. virtualbox.org is probably your best bet to track down the settings - sorry I can't be more specific.
I don't think "3d acceleration" is usually something you need to enable in your system bios/efi - instead its usually something like "intel virtualization" or similar.
