Would make this transformer (and then others) make sense for QIIME2? I don't believe the inverse works as well, because of the provenance tracking.
Hey @bvan-tassel, Can you describe what the goal would be? Collection isn't a semantic type, so doesn't fit in the transformer context - but what might make sense is a "combine" action (sort of the inverse of qiime demux partition-samples-paired).
