Taxa bar plot level :: genus

Hello
How can I have a taxa bar plot showing just genus in bars and legends in QIIME2 , something like attached file, Could you please tell me which scripts I can use ?

Hi @Fatemah,
barplot will show you barplots of taxa at whatever level you select. The legend will of course show the full taxonomic affiliation up to and including that level. You can modify the taxonomy labels manually and re-import if you only want a specific label shown.

The plot you are showing as an example — and effectively what you are asking for — is a customized plot. Some customization is inevitably required to tailor any of these barplots for publication, but something like what you are showing is not possible in QIIME 2 (feature metadata along X axis, custom labels and coloring).
