Security Error: Operation is insecure

When I am trying to work through the “Atacama soil microbiome” tutorial I cant click on any of the "view" buttons. I keep getting brought to a page that says

Security Error: Operation is insecure

Ive tried to use a private window and updating my version of firefox but nothing is working.

Hi @Stephanie_Miller!

I have a few questions - what version of Firefox are you using? Can you try with another browser, such as Google Chrome?

Unfortunately q2view doesn't work in a private browser tab in Firefox, the browser doesn't give q2view access to all of the necessary internals that it needs when run in private mode.

Can you send a screenshot of the issue?

I am using firefox version 89.0.2. I downloaded GoogleChrome and that works.

Hmm, interesting! Do you have any extensions installed in Firefox?
