scikit-bio version update and PERMANOVAs

Hello,

I need to make a very large number of executions of PERMANOVA and would greatly prefer to do so through QIIME 2. I saw that scikit-bio has a 100x faster version in master, but it's not yet released.

Will it be available in the next release of QIIME 2?

I'd like to echo this -- it would be exciting to have the improvements made to scikit-bio available in the next release of QIIME 2 if possible

I don't believe that the scikit-bio version used by QIIME 2 is pinned anywhere (other than some min pins), so the only bottleneck would be the release schedule for scikit-bio. Once it is released it can be tested for use in the next possible QIIME 2 release...
