It looks like this problem isn’t solved — the error you pasted below still says the same thing: “[Errno 38] Function not implemented: ‘/media/hjunca/EXTERNAL2/tmp/tmp.FKiJ4m1XRH/qiime2-provenance-n3foef5i/artifacts/57f511e4-2855-4755-bbe1-412b23640110’”)] Maybe try setting your TMPDIR to this external drive AND move your data to that drive, as well?

Hello, I was reading up on this topic and think I have the same problem. I have not enough room left on my computer to proceed with my analysis. I read everywhere that moving your TMPDIR to an external drive is the solution. I use WSL for my analysis, is it also possible to do this when using WSL? and could you also please explain me how to set my TMPDIR to this external drive?

• What version of QIIME 2 are you using?
• What are the commands you are running? Copy and paste, please.
• What are the errors you are observing (make sure to add the --verbose flag before running). Copy and paste, please.
