This August, members of the QIIME 2 team from the Caporaso Lab will team up with the ITCR Training Network to teach a three-day workshop on leveraging Docker and Galaxy for QIIME 2-based data analysis. The workshop will run for four hours each day, and will alternate between a focus on learning to use command line software, Docker, and Galaxy, and applying those tools to analyze microbiome data with QIIME 2. Attendees will leave with an understanding of how to apply QIIME 2 to their microbiome data, including how to use computational resources that will make that possible.
Additional details and registration information can be found here, and any questions about the event can be directed to itcrtrainingnetwork@gmail.com.
Hope to see you there!
