Metadata for Shannon visualization from picrust2 metrics

Hello there,
thanks for this amazing forum!
I tried to visualize the shannon.qza from qiime diversity core-metrics related to the PICRUSt EC_table.qza with the command
qiime diversity alpha-group-significance **
–i-alpha-diversity core-metrics-results/faith_pd_vector.qza **
–m-metadata-file sample-metadata.tsv **
–o-visualization core-metrics-results/faith-pd-group-significance.qzv

but it failed due to the metadata.
I used the same used for the qiime diversity core-metrics command.
Which one should I use?

Hi @chiara - please provide us with the following additional material:

  • the version of QIIME 2 used
  • the exact error observed when run with the --verbose flag - copy and paste please
