I installed Qiime2 with AWS by referring to this page.

“6. Log in” on this page states that you should log in as the “qiime2” user.
Is it possible for other users to use Qiime2?

Yes, it's possible to create a new user account! After making a new account you can run conda init to set up conda in that acct (conda should already be installed on the machine), and then hopefully you can then just activate the QIIME 2 environment. Please keep in mind I haven't directly tested this, but from my memory of how its set up, I don't see any issues with this.
Alternatively, you can just follow the Native Installation guide on any AWS linux image of your choice.
