I have the same problem.
My PC has Centos 8 as operating system. I installed the program with conda Qiime2 environment, version 2023.2. I was able to activate the environment and it threw me this error:
QIIME is caching its current implementation to improve performance. This can take a few minutes and only needs to happen once per deployment.
Illegal instruction ('core' generator)
Can someone help me please.

Did you try any of the suggestions provided in the other related forum posts to this same issue? I'd search for illegal instruction ('core' generator) on the forum, as there have been quite a few posts regarding the same issue. If none of those related suggestions works for you, we can continue to troubleshoot.
