Install from source option

Hi

I’m trying to set up Quiime2 on Raigin HPC super computing however to quote them “we don’t allow containers and our OS is Centos6”.

is there a way we can have a install from source option if there isn’t one already?

Hey there @Christopher_Poulton -

What about conda? That isn't containerized, and we have heard reports of folks installing QIIME 2/conda on Centos 6.

It is something we have discussed, but it isn't on our radar right now. We would love a hand with that if you or anyone you know is interested in contributing!
