How to interpret boxplot results in beta diversity

Hi there, I've generated some beta-group-significance box plots comparing the weighted unifrac of my two results to each other. However, I do not really know how to extrapolate any information from these boxplots. For example, when comparing one group to another and there is a statistically significant difference, can I infer from the boxplot that the group with a higher weighted unifrac distance compared to another is more diverse? I know that they are significantly different but is that all I am able to tell from beta diversity analyses?

Hello and welcome to the forums! :qiime2:

Would you be willing to post the box plots you have made to we can take a look? While we can't write your results section for you, hopefully we can see what's going on and help you make sense of what you are seeing.

(I know results can be sensitive / private, so if you would rather not post your data, that's OK too! We can use results from the tutorials to get started.)
