I'm trying to get the KO count of each predicted functional profile from picrust2 with results such as "A total of n KOs" for a certain kind of pathway.
I need to know how these are counted because I tried counting the number of instances a pathway is predicted in my stratified results from picrust2 and I would get values up to more than 100.
