EnvironmentNameNotFound: Could not find conda environment: qiime2-2018.11

I'm seeking assistance with an issue during installation. The terminal freezes with a "Solving environment" message at the end of the installation process. Subsequently, when attempting to create a Qiime2 environment using a command, I encounter the error "EnvironmentNameNotFound: Could not find conda environment: qiime2-2018.11."

I'm using MacOS Ventura on an Intel m3 processor. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Couple of questions for you:

  1. Do you need to install QIIME 2 2018.11 for a particular reason? If not, we definitely recommend installing our latest release version (2023.9).
  2. Can you please provide the full command(s) you ran, along with the entire error traceback? This will help us to better understand why the environment was unable to solve.
