Correlation analysis of beta-diversity

Hi everyone

I want to know if it is possible to make a correlation analysis of continuous variables using a beta diversity matrix. For instance, If I have got stool samples from a set of patients, I want to know if certain gut microbial communities are linked to a more severe clinical status ( indicated by a quantitative clinical score). I see that in terms of alpha diversity, it is possible to make such analysis, but I didn’t find the same for beta-div in qimme tutorials.

Thanks a lot

Sounds more like a job for q2-gneiss if you are looking for individual features.

Good luck!
