hey, Thank you for your reply. I did understand a part of it. but i am not able to co relate it with my data. Does my plot say that the microbiota of the two group is same.

It looks like there is no clear separation of the groups. Adonis or PERMANOVA (beta group significance) test can be performed to see if there are some differences between groups.

Your respose cleared lot of doubts, thanks. For some reason I thought this plot was generated with beta group significance test.
