We are looking for an experienced bioinformatician to add to our Data Scientist team at Purina Animal Nutrition (Gray Summit, MO). In this position, you will build pipelines and programs to analyze small and large scale microbiome studies related to swine, poultry, beef and dairy cattle, and horses. This position can be done remote (virtual) or can work from the Purina Animal Nutrition Center in Gray Summit, MO. If you prefer to relocate, a relocation package will be provided.
As a Bioinformatics Data Scientist, you will work closely with a multi-functional team made up of animal science experts and researchers who collaborate and develop innovative products by using cutting-edge bioinformatics, machine learning, and microbiome engineering technology.
