AWS Qiime2 Copy AMI from "US West (Oregon)" to "ap-northeast-1"

Hello,

I have setup AWS and try to install qiime2. I changed my AWS region to “US West (Oregon)” and created an EC2 instance from qiime2 AMI (ami-047e4e681eb328540).

Can I copy EC2 Instance AMI from “US West (Oregon)” to “ap-northeast-1”?
I want to be able to use qiime2 in “ap-northeast-1”, but is there a problem with the license?

No, there is no problem here - you are free to use QIIME 2 anywhere.
