I am an evolutionary microbiologist interested in a wide variety of questions centred around the level of species. Currently, I aim to strengthen my understanding of species from the ecological point of view by contributing to the exploration of microbial communities of Alpine glacier-fed streams, ecosystems critically endangered by climate change.
