Can anyone tell me if it is possible to use the RDP database or greengenes in qiime2? I used SILVA, but I would like to know if it is possible to use others.

QIIME plays pretty nicely with greengenes, and the 13_8 release is available as a classifier or fragment-insertion reference. (Check out the data resources page). I don’t think there’s a version of RDP that’s been formatted to be QIIME 2 compatible, but if you did that, you might share it via the community resources page.

PS: You may find some differences in classification between greengenes and silva particularly if you’re using a newer version of Silva. I think GTDB shifted a lot of names.
