Summarize counts per sample on filtered feature table

Hello,

After initially importing my data, my subsequent analysis ended up requiring filtering about 1/3 of my samples out of the data set. Which I did by using the feature-table sample-filter option. I would now like to generate a summary of the counts per sample (ie. the output of demux summarize) for just the subset of samples in the feature table that I used for my subsequent analysis. Is it possible to just generate a count per sample summary from a filtered/subsetted feature table, rather than having to re-import the subset of samples?

Thank you!

Hi @ikunz!
Use feature-table summarize to get counts of sequences per sample and other information in a feature table. This can operate on any feature table, so should work for your subsampled table.

Let me know if that’s what you’re looking for!
