This lines demonstrate how the number of samples will change depending on which sampling depth you will choose for rarefaction as in core-metrics command.
I guess that all your samples have more than 15000 reads, so you will not loose any samples by choosing any sampling depth up to 15000. I think if you will recreate alpha rarefaction with higher value then you will see some decline.
