Hi guys, I’m totally new to Qiime2. I have a question regarding training the classifier, so after I train the classifier.qza, will the content in my classifier.qza file change? So if I use the same file to do a taxonomy analysis for another sample, will that affect my results? Thank you!
No, that classifier will always work the same way. That is really why the classifier training and classification are split into two steps: you can re-use the trained classifier again and again (as long as the query sequences are appropriate for that classifier, e.g., same amplicon region/primers).
