I’m a novice to programming but I know it can be difficult to work out some things. I wanted to see if there was a way to see what time or day a file was made inside the studio. I know it is in beta at the moment but it may be a useful feature in the future.

You can! All QIIME 2 have this information stored in the provenance. Use q2view to view the file, and check out the provenance tab. Time/date of generation and lots of other information shall be revealed.
