QIIME 2 plugin 'taxa' has no action 'filter-table'

Hi,

I am attempting to filter my OTU table so that it only includes OTUs classified in Kingdom Fungi. I tried the following command and received the following error:

qiime taxa filter-table --i-table otu_table.qza --i-taxonomy taxonomy.qza --p-include k__Fungi --o-filtered-table otu_table.only.Fungi.qza

Error: QIIME 2 plugin ‘taxa’ has no action ‘filter-table’.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @noah,
What version of QIIME 2 are you running? It looks like you are most likely running an outdated version that does not have that command (we release new versions every 2 months currently).

I recommend installing the latest version (2018.4) and that should be all you need!

Let us know if you’re still having trouble with this command after that!
