Hi @michael.shaffer ,
are there any updates on using q2-SCNIC on either versions 2019.1/2019.4? I only have these two installed and it looks like qiime2 2018.11 (the last version of qiime2 compatible with the q2-SCNIC) is no longer supported so i can no longer install that to use the SCNIC plugin.
Thanks!

I would really like to know the answer to this question as well. @thermokarst
Hi @Evelyn_Campbell! I am not involved in the development of this third-party plugin, so I don’t think I can help you really - sorry! I did hear a rumor that @michael.shaffer defended this spring, in which case, I suspect things have been pretty hectic for them! In the meantime, you should still be able to run this plugin in a 2018.11 installation, you can get a VM-installation from here:
https://docs.qiime2.org/2018.11/install/virtual/

Hi @thermokarst thanks for the reply. Is VM the only way to use version 2018.11 right now?
UPDATE: Just installed older version of QIIME2 using VM and installed SCNIC via your command from an older post:
conda install -c lozuponelab -c conda-forge -c bioconda -c defaults --override-channels q2-SCNIC
and it seems to have worked! Thanks a bunch @thermokarst !!!
