Plugin error from feature-classifier (this classifier does not support confidence values)

Hi @sabasu,
This error is usually caused by formatting issues, often if the taxonomies do not have even levels. Since you are combining 16S + 18S, I suspect that may be the case — e.g., the 16S is 7 levels but the 18S is not.

Hey @aalex, One more little step to diagnose this issue. Could you please use this one-liner to make sure you have an even number of ranks on each line, and let us know the result?: awk -F\; '{print NF-1}' reference_taxonomy.txt | sort -u That will tell you the number of semicolon-delimited ranks in each line. If you receive more than one number in the output, then we can work to find the line that is shorter (or longer) than the rest. I know, I know, your python script should be outputting…
