So for full disclosure, I'm not super familiar with the ACE metric in particular, but I did find this forum post which discusses how the ACE metric (and other similar diversity metrics) are calculated, along with their limitations. Hopefully this will help contextualize this error a bit, based on the dataset you're working with. Cheers
