# Looking for pre-trained SILVA 138 V4 classifier for QIIME2 2026.04

I am very new to bioinfo and also to qiime2, I am using HPC to analyze by data so i thought the latest version would be best to use but i realize that there is no pretrained classifier for this one. I tried to train silva but its not giving me anything (I might have missed something). I would really appreciate any suggestions for this issue.

Hey @pshre,

We are still waiting on newly trained classifiers from Silva. In the meantime, check out [this thread](https://forum.qiime2.org/t/looking-for-pre-trained-silva-138-v4-classifier-for-qiime2-2024-10/34190/7) for a couple of options (either to train your own, or use a pre-trained one from one of our forum mods).
