One down, one to go! 😉
May be an OS issue. The small print on the click documentation page you found (good sleuthing, btw! 🕵️‍♂️) suggests some alternative formats for the export command you tried. Details here:

> [@RuntimeError: Click will abort further execution because Python 3 was configured to use ASCII as encoding for the environment](https://forum.qiime2.org/t/runtimeerror-click-will-abort-further-execution-because-python-3-was-configured-to-use-ascii-as-encoding-for-the-environment/7460/10):

> @JIM. Is this a centOS system? The Click documentation referenced in your error message mentions that On some systems it was reported that UTF-8 has to be written as UTF8 and vice versa. Try export LC\_ALL=en\_US.utf8 If that doesn't work, try export LC\_ALL=en\_US.UTF8 Sorry this is taking so long to work out! thinkingpraysweat Chris
