Hi, I'm trying to understand the demux.qzv file but I can't find anywhere a guide of what each component mean. Where can I find one? Also, looking at the count of forward and reverse reads, they are exactly the same number for each of my samples. Is this normal? See attached
Hello Klesita,
The tutorials includes lots of great information about what's in these files and how to interpret them. You can compare your real data to the example data provided in the tutorials.
Yes! The Illumina sequencers produce matching pairs of forward and reverse reads for each amplicon on the flow cell, so we expect the same number of forward and reverse reads for each sample.
