Installing QIIME2 within Conda environment

Hi,
I am currently using MacOS High Sierra 10.13.6 and I am currently trying to install QIIME2. I have reached the point where I can install QIIME2 within the condo environment however, when I try the command: wget https://data.qiime2.org/distro/core/qiime2-2018.8-py35-osx-conda.yml, I get an error message saying, " -bash: wget: command not found". I’m guessing that I’m in the wrong directory but I’m not too sure about that.

try the curl command instead. It looks like wget is not installed on your Mac.

Good luck!

This was what typed in for the command and it provided with a URL.

curl https://data.qiime2.org/distro/core/qiime2-2018.8-py35-osx-conda.yml
