how to get "shannon", "Ace", "Simpson" and "Coverage" values using QIIME?

Dear Friends,

I have water samples, and I want to get the “shannon”, “Ace”, “Simpson” and “Coverage” value for each sample. Can you please let me know how to do this? The reference table is here:

“Table 1” in this paper: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5045175/

Thanks!

Hi @danielsebas,

You may want to explore the alpha function in q2-diversity. It has a lot of metrics. You will want to pass in a rarified table, I think, unless coverage comes from breakaway?

Best,
Justine

Thanks @jwdebelius. I got the qza files, now how can I get it in text files or a form in which I can see the numbers and make a table? Thanks much!

You can export the qza files.

I figured it out. Thanks @jwdebelius
