# How to filter OUTS based both length and frequence ？

Hello，I have finished running the `vsearch`  
and got the outputs:

```auto
rep-seqs.qza
table.qza

```

How can I filtering the reads with length \< 1600 and frequence \> 3 and get the  
**new** files for

```auto
rep-seqs_filter.qza
table_filter.qza

```

Hi @111,

Take a look at our extensive [documentation](https://docs.qiime2.org/2020.8/) 📑 , specifically [filtering by frequency](https://docs.qiime2.org/2020.8/tutorials/filtering/#total-frequency-based-filtering). If you'd like to filter based on sequence length you can install the [RESCRIPt plugin](https://github.com/bokulich-lab/RESCRIPt) 📜 , and use either the [filter-seqs-length](https://forum.qiime2.org/t/processing-filtering-and-evaluating-the-silva-database-and-other-reference-sequence-data-with-rescript/15494#heading--twelfth-header) or [filter-seqs-length-by-taxon](https://forum.qiime2.org/t/processing-filtering-and-evaluating-the-silva-database-and-other-reference-sequence-data-with-rescript/15494#heading--fourth-header) actions 📏.
