# Heat map image size

Hi @zeineldn! There is an [open issue](https://github.com/qiime2/q2-feature-table/issues/155) tracking the bug but it hasn't been fixed yet. We'll follow up here when it's fixed in a QIIME 2 release!

This error message happens if your feature table has a lot of features or samples. See @thermokarst's [suggestion](https://forum.qiime2.org/t/heatmap-too-large/1850/12) for how to reduce the number of features in the table, and @ebolyen's [suggestion](https://forum.qiime2.org/t/heatmap-too-large/1850/14) for reducing the number of samples in the table.
