Feature-table merge vs merge-seqs

Hi there,
I was trying to merge a few dada2 output table together using feature-table merge, as suggested previously. I then saw in the feature-table plugin page, there is another command merge-seqs, I am not sure I understood the instructions. I wonder what is the difference between merge and merge-seqs.

I wonder what is the difference between merge and merge-seqs.

One is for merging FeatureTable[Frequency] artifacts, while the other is for merging FeatureData[Sequence] artifacts. That is to say, one is for merging observation tables, while the other is for merging "sequences".
