Error: QIIME 2 plugin 'gneiss' has no action 'balance-taxonomy'

Hi,
I wanted to use 'balance-taxonomy' action from gneiss qiime2 plugin. But it seems that its discontinued. Could you please suggest the alternative command. My original command is pasted below:

(qiime2-2022.8) streptomyces@SBIO-KT-LIN-2:~/Rupesh/Suzanne/aqua_fastq/qiime2$ qiime gneiss balance-taxonomy --i-table table-silva-nc-wobl-no-mitochondria-no-chloroplast.qza --i-tree hierarchy.qza --i-taxonomy nc-wobl-trained-silva-taxonomy.qza --p-taxa-level 6 --p-balance-name 'y0' --m-metadata-file sample-metadata.tsv --m-metadata-column subject --o-visualization y0_taxa_summary.qzv
Error: QIIME 2 plugin 'gneiss' has no action 'balance-taxonomy'.

You are correct - this method was depreciated in 2020. We do not currently have an alternative command - but details on why this was depreciated, along with our current recommendations can be found in this forum post:

Hello, I am using gneiss to determine taxonomy differentials between treatments with the balance-taxonomy command. It works well but I am receiving the following warning: “balance-taxonomy is deprecated and will be removed in a future version of this plugin.” Can you please tell me why this method is being discontinued, and what will replace it?
